Hidden Milan

Dedicated to photo addicts with an eye for details,

this photo tour will take you away from main tourists routes and large crowds.

If you want to shoot something completely different, this photo tour is your choice!

From beautiful churches to fresh perspectives through the narrowest, quiet and atmospheric streets in Milan, there will be a bit of everything to shoot: all packed in a carefully planned and surprising tour, including the bright colored frescos in San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore Church (aka 'Milan Sistine Chapel') and controversial modern art in the likes of Maurizio Cattelan's 'L.O.V.E.', a challenging giant middle finger made of marble in front of the Stock Exchange building.

There's a lot more than this: capture hectic students life and the geometry of 15th century Renaissance cloisters in State University building (Ca' Granda), practice low light photography in romanic Sant'Ambrogio (one of the oldest cathedrals in Milan, built in the 4th century), learn the secrets of long exposures in Vergine dell'Annunciata's solemn crypt, elaborate architectural or abstract photography exploiting the intrepid design of mushroom-like-shaped Velasca Tower, a symbol of Milan economic boom in the 1960’s, and be puzzled by skulls and bones perfect patterns in San Bernardino Church ossuary. Not to mention, street photography opportunities and murals will wait for you at many corners, starting from S. Lorenzo's Columns right at the beginning of the tour.

And then again: roman ruins, bombed chapels in open air, almost 200 years old pastry shops, odd boutiques, art galleries, beautiful residential buildings... In a few words, every step of this photo tour will be a feast for your eyes... and for your camera, of course.
